Moving to a new HD

I have acquired a new faster and bigger cache HD, and want to move my Ryzom client there. From other reading it looks like I could just move my Ryzom folder, then manually fix all the startup icons, but I like to keep registry/icon issues clean so I would prefer to uninstall/reinstall.

But I also do not want to loose my settings that I have. So my question is :

Are there a set of files I can save to the side, then copy into my reinstalled Ryzom to preserve my settings ? (if so, which subdirectory(ies) )

Thanks
Balagor

OOC :

The "save" folder holds all settings for your characters ( such as keybindings, logs and interface settings ) the "client.cfg" file in the game folder ( Ryzom folder ) holds the settings for the client.

But as you stated, its is just a move of the folder itself to the new drive and perhaps change the links ( to the executable file ) to the game folder that needs to be edited.

As the install of the game simply unpacks the game into the destination folder no registry entries are made, only links to the executable file.

Actually you can copy the whole install folder to your new drive and it'll work jsut fine. That way you won't have to redo all the patching and such that comes with a reinstall.

Afaik there is no registry data associated with Ryzom.
It should be a simply matter of changing the drive letter on the shortcut, and there should only be one that you use.

I have moved the entire directory several times and have never seen any problems in doing so.
