AC player giving this a shot. Just wondering if you can remap the keyboard and if so, how do you recommend? I can't stand arrows, I'm just too used to WASD.

The 'k' key brings up a window with an editable list of key mappings. Just click on an item and choose Assign Key.

Be careful remapping keys. W,A and S all have shortcuts already assigned to them.
You can move without using the arrow keys by pressing both of your mouse buttons down at the same time. Then just direct yourself by moving the mouse in the direction you want.

dont do it!
well u can if u like but try giving the defaults a go. there are several ways to move around:
arrow keys (+ CTRL to strafe)
hold both mouse buttons
autorun (and steer when needed)
right click and follow ppl
using the mouse to run around has a lot of advantages, mostly u can happily chat (and repeatedly run ur avatar into walls, trees, etc while u do this)

Aah, don't listen to him
. I'm never comfortable in a game until I get the keymap tweaked into some semblance of sense

k = default keymap.
MAKE NOTE OF THE KEYS YOU ARE GOING TO CHANGE BEFORE CHANGING THEM >!<
And it does not have to be a single key - it can be a combo of 2 - 3 ...
I put the ~ key to sit / stand for instance - love it.
The mouse drives pretty well once you get used to it (hold both left and right keys down)
Remember that the END key locks your toon into run mode - now just steer = GREAT!
Now if I could just figure out how to jump ... lol
