Hi, I found this game for 2.99 in Game [I'm from England, if there are any other UK players around] and having heard of it somewhere I decided to buy it and give it a whirl.
I haven't really got very far yet.
I killed a couple of yubos, which I'm sure not many people can claim to have done, I must be some kind of Uber 1337 5k11z0rz now.
So yeh, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm a Matis y'know, people who live in trees. I'm not a total RPG/MMOG newb but I'm a bit lost in this game.
My in-game name is Grimme and er any help what I'm supposed to do is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Welcome Grimme.
Get familiar with the mechanics of the game and level your skills to 21, most homins leave the training land earlier than that since it can get lonely there, but at least have some magic and melee skills before you come to the mainland. Since you are Matis, you will arrive to the City of Yurkanis, great place to start but also dangerous.
To start on your melee get an axe from the vendor as soon as you get enough dappers, they are very effective with Izams and Yubers, or get a 2hand sword. Although my preference is 1hand axe, because I found that I could deliver more hits than with a 2h sword. As soon as you get some Skill Points (SP) go to the trainer and train Constitution and Strength, if you have any SP left get Increase Damage, and Spee. Leveling from 1-5 is quick, so once that is done, switch to Magic, once you level to 5 in mag. go to trainer and train Intelligence and Wisdom, and get Self Heal and Self Heal Stam. Then move on to melee again, do this and train every five levels, before you know it, you will gain your next title. When in combat and you see that you might die, you can cancel attack with command key F6, then use spee to run to safety.
I hope these tips help and good luck.

Hey thanks. I was about to give up aswell, which would have been a shame.
I forget to tell you my action pack things, yet you somehow knew I had melee and magic [spooky], I have 2 on melee and 1 on magic at the moment. Is that good to start with? I trained that constitution thing, but I only have about 500 credits [or whatever you call them], so I can't afford an axe yet.
Thanks for the tips any more appreciated.

The sooner you hit the mainland the better. Many more folks there to talk to and team with. You won't find Yber or Izam's in Matis lands... but you will find Caprini's, Bodoc's and yes, even Yubo's around Yrkanis to hone your skills on.

Its my pleasure
I do hope you enjoy the game as much as I do. I think this is one of the best games out and although it seems complicated now, you will see how easy it is to train your skills down the road. As for dappers (money), simply kill all the Yubus that you can and sell the mats to vendors until you can afford the weapon of your choice. You can also speak to one of the NPCs and get a mission, most give dappers for the tasks. You can also go to the HELP panel and read the How to section.
To really get a good experience of the game you need to leave the training area. You will probably find more help in the City of Yurkanis than you would on the noob island. That's totally up to you, but if you think your ready go talk to the Karavans and Teleport to the City.

Thanks a lot. I can see that its a pretty friendly community and I hope that all things being equal I can get off the noob island and get into the city.
