after getting ahold of an outpost and setting up a tree bore, waiting 24hours, we finally got 1 armilo lichen. I made a melee weapon crafting tool. saw that there was a 5% chance of a 20 point stat boost, didn't really understand what that meant..was it going to increase the stats on the sword i make? after grinding up exc mats and 8 swords finally i got a message of a stat boost..it added 20 stam bonus to the sword.

Am I wrong in feeling completely let down and cheated

has anyone crafted a weapon or amp yet? are those at least worth the effort?

did you use stam bonus on it ?

if yes, then try hp+stam, maybe they both get 20 bonus if 5% kicks in (or it gets divided 10 hp and 10 stam)

perfectly normal to be angry, those screenshots i have seen, description is not that accurate

I always supect anyone with so few posts and no sig with character name of trolling... But basically, your costs are so low that you cannot really expect too much.

Your OP is giving you crystals, consumables... and maybe slowly... but they are giving you new plans/capabilities.

I am the first one to gripe that I am still stuck at 250, but the story is moving and you have new abilities. That beats events where you get points to spend on things that a couple weeks later will be provided by your OP's... but I digress.

so u got something BETTER than u used to have.. and in the meantime u had a helll of a lot of fun getting it. and sure its not often better than avg.. its only a low percentage.. but no one said OPs were gonna be the end-game? no one said that you would have "power overwhelming" after crafting from items out of the OP.. they are different, and prob mean we will open up new abilites sooner or later.

this is like 'here, heres something extra' and you going 'i want more!' .. accept it, be happy

with such a crafting tool u cud get 100/100 in all stats on amps but shh

You're absolutely right...
It says "5.0% chance of adding a 20.0 bonus to the value of a score on the crafted item" and it just gives a 20 bonus to hp/stam/sap/focus bonus...
And the message in sysinfo said "added sap 20", but on the amp is stam 20 :/
Can't they give better descriptions???

The tools are as worthless as I originally thought they were...

The amps crafted from the outposts give (from what i heard) either 1/5 chance of a free nuke or 1/5 chance of an instant nuke... balanced? at least let the tools do what the discription says they do, or either 100% chance, cause a 20 bonus is worthless...

The tools for jewelry give a 5% (or 1 in 20) chance to give +20 bonus. I believe it is the same for armour and wepons tools too. The bonus is HP/Stam/Focus and its random. Doesn't matter what bonus you're using in the plan. This could be useful, it could be useless. Depends on what bonus randomly gets put on it.

anyway 20 hp more is a jk...
