All guild members are now forced to align as far as viewpoints go.
Lol... if you can't decide that then you probably don't have much leadership.

The leader has to make the pick personally and some leaders aren't on too often. This leaves the members in the undecided state since they can't be certain what their guild will be.

Re-org, or pledge allegiance to Jena and the Matis, and be a proud member of OmegaV.
Last resort I guess you should prod your leader whom is in exile.
Noin.

From what I read in Q&A, a pure neutral character can only join a pure neutral guild. To join an aligned guild you first have to change your alignment to match that guild, which means developing appropriate levels of fame.
One thing this will end is guild adopting newbies and supporting them as they learn the game.

Instead of the actions of the guildmates speaking for the guild, instead of being free to choose for oneself, members will have this decision decided for them. This decision will impact where you can go, what missions you can take, what rites you can earn, what vendors you can sell to/from. Gone are the days when you get suprised that your long time friend has been secretly working for the kami. Your friend, born a Fyros, will now have to denounce his hertitage or seek a Fyros guild. Sure you can still write each other and hunt together but its not the same. The visits become less and less 'til you just nod to each other when you pass on the street. You forget who's turn it is to buy the first round. Too cheap you don't bother to strike up a conversation in case its your turn.
Destroyer of guilds? I'm not sure. Majority rules. If you want to part of the majority then you better get in line and aligned. Citzens can't be neutral, neither can the faithful. Neutrals are without fame or faith and left to wander and wonder. Neutrality is suddenly unfashionable. Racial bias and regilous doctrine is all the rage.

No a pure neutral can join any guild. Your alignment must match that of the guild of have neutral in one of the opposing slots or be neutral/neutral.
Example: A Kami/Fyros guild can recruit any of the following. Kami/fyros, Kami/neutral, neutral/fyros, or neutral/neutral.
Undertmined on the other hand can't join anyone.
As for my guild. We took a vote on kult alignment and are in the process of taking a poll on civ alignment. Their guild. Their choice. Not mine.

Recreation of guild, since nobody can contact guild leader directly, or something like that...
