Yes, the french court has renewed our observation period, and that's of course a good news, because it means we are going on.
The evolution since the beginning of the year was positive enough for our shareholders to envision a future for Ryzom, and for the court to follow.
However at the end of our observation period we need to reach break even, and even though we've made some progress, we are not there yet. That's why we are undertaking another reorganization, and some positions are suppressed, to lower our costs and keep Nevrax alive. This reorganization includes the departure of David Cohen (Creative Director), as well as some other Nevrax managers / pioneers.
Of course it wasn't an easy decision. David and some others actually volunteered, because they want Ryzom to live long and become successful. These measures to attain our goal only makes our determination stronger. In any case, they won't be far away. We are a big family, and those who leave are always there to help us and give us advice when needed. They also are the first ones to show up at our famous staff parties.
This Nevrax spirit is what kept us alive and motivated all these years, and it will take more than that to make it stop. Everyone is willing to make the necessary efforts to keep the same development rate and support quality until we can grow up in numbers again. We have the outposts coming, the PvE content, and of course the Ring for Q1 2006, so we'll have a lot to do and play.
Of course, all this wouldn't and will not be possible without your support - you keep our determination alive. And, hopefully, together we'll give Ryzom the success it deserves.
