A christmas poem

Listen , what be that sound. Roaming in the wind all around.
Footsteps on the ground, small ones too, from a hound ?
You hear a sound of laughter, he is coming thereafter.
A man so rarely seen, what do he brings keep everyone keen.
As he enters with his friends, the joy and happiness extends its ends.
What be in his bag is for us to see, as he hands gifts to you and me.
little things carefully wrapped , he brings joy and fun, for this he is apt.
So as our joy lifts, as we opens his gifts.
Have you been kind and done well, now this will tell.
He sends wishes to you and me, of how merry this christmas will be.
