I am new to the game, so excuse my noob question. Is there a key to quickly go between mouse look (Free Look) and normal mouse mode? Like a toggle mouse look key?

Any help is appreciated on my question.

Not that I know off the top of my head. But you may be able to make a key bind for it.

Press K when in game. At the top of the keys window thre is a button called New Key. You may be able to make something there.

Just hold down the left mouse button - this will allow you to look around without turning your character.
Holding down the right mouse button will turn to face the direction you move the mouse.
Holding down both mouse buttons will make the character run in whichever direction the mouse is pointing.

I know your talking about a mouse button, but you can also turn without changing direction by using the 1 & 2 key on your keypad. Typicllay I use a combo of both when moving because freelook with my mouse can often mean facing the sky

Right Click > Free Look

That locks free look untill you click a mouse button
