Eight days... no activity, no updates, no kitin troopers. Almati Woods is as quiet as it was the day after the temples were erected. Sure there are kitins out there - one stop shopping for L60 - L235 kitin.

Maybe the event was postponed due to the lack of population as many are testing outposts on ATS. I was there too. But I came back looking to be part of the next big event. Looks like the next big event is Saturday when S'int T'Klaes comes to Fairhaven.

I realize that some of the events over the past year had some bumps, false starts and server crashing bugs but this one....

Actually I ran out there during the 2nd announcement on the 12/01 and killed the <undefined.missing title> double-black star Kinrey boss and looted its supreme q270 PR mats. I was then hoisted on the shoulders of my fellow guildies and made our way back to the Fairhaven bar and drank Stinga rum until the triumph faded from memory... Sorry... it just came back to me.

Seriously folks, what's up with this event??

I always look at delays from an IC perspective, rather than thinking something is wrong OOC. If the kitins haven't started invading yet, they just haven't yet.

I find I have a lot more fun that way.

You have a point... I've been looking at from an IC perspective too...

The Rangers and the Karavan say to be watchful and I have... Granted the Rangers have more experience and the Karavan have more technology but why have they choosen to be quiet. Its one thing to say the homins must come together to fight our true enemy and another to say that a great army awaits us in Almati Woods. There implies a specific goal and urgency. My efforts in building the temples has somehow incited the kitin. Now I must do what I can to prevent another Great Swarming. But I can't do it alone.

I think Nevrax needs to be looking at things from a RL perspective more. Right now, they're doing nothing but creating apathy in the community. When you make a big announcement that tells us of an impending kitin invasion then wait more than a week, it makes people not care and not believe.

IC: Its building tension, awaiting the kitins...

OOC: I bet they could'nt fix the raid engine

I agree nothing is going on despite the announcements. I have to say though, there best be rewards making us return to lands that currently mean little for story...
