More Itemization Needed

I havent peen playing very long so i may be incorrect but from what i have seen in this world all the players from having lvl 5 skills to 250 all have the same looking items. The stats on thses itmes are of course different but the look of the skins and patterns are all very much the same from clothing to swords etc. There are a few variations yes, but not nearly enough. Playing in many MMOs i have become rather fond of collecting and crafting items that look unusual or different it keeps me occupied when i am sick of grinding or whatever. I belive that is missing to some extrent in SoR and would be greatly appreciated by the players. To be positive however i did see some reward gear from building the Temples/sanctuarys the other day that looked very nice and different. However that is all that i have seen. Does anyone know of any plans to intorduce new items to craft?

The incoming Outposts feature to be patched soon (probably before christmas or right after) will add more variation. Apparently, there will be new craft plans that can be learnt by anyone using skill points -- 96 iirc -- but to be able to craft them you may need specific materials that can only be gathered in some outposts.
I agree with your post. More skins are always welcome, specially I wish they add new plans at lvl 250, but I understand there may be shortcomings to that

Im hoping for more plans from Rites too if/when they ever get in game (incomming with new fame system ? -i hope).
We already have some (3):-
Generic Buckler from the Zorai =equivalent to basic plan
Generic Bowrifle from the Tryker =equivalent to basic plan
Generic 1h Axe from the Fyros =lower than basic lol (only uses 3/3/3/3 mats compared to basic using 5/3/3/3)
...be nice if we get medium n highq types plus some others too

i would love to see a lot more item patterns added, in my dream world i would love the craft window to have an extra option called "colour custimisation" oh but i hear you shout you can change the colour with the mats used, but what im saying is why not have a variation on those colours, wouldnt it be great if we could choose from a variety of reds and which parts of the crafted item you want red and so on.
forgive the clumsy writing too, feeling tired and not very logical

Yeah id like to be able to combine those mission mat pigments in onto primary n secondary colours (with no stat or exp change) , but i dont think we'll get that :/
Maybe a new cosmetic NPC could dye already made up armour but id prefer to do it myself during the craft process

there are quite a lot at present - each armor spot can be one of 4 races, 3 plans, and lots of colors.. but more is always good

The mind boggles at the amount of
outfits that can be made up currently... not to mention all of the
craftable items. Then of course there's the faction
event items and even some special shiny things that most people don't even recognise anymore
Personally I think that the only thing they could conceivably do to make things "better" in my opinion is to add in those caster armours everyone got so excited about... Extra colours/dyes would be nice, but almost anything is possible as it is

As mentioned, there's 8 colors now, however, for all practical purposes, there's 4 colors if you want good armor. Beige, Green, Purple, and Turquoise are only available in Basic and Fine grades so they don't get used for much other than dress gear.
I'd like to see the color be separate from the stats. That's where dyes come in. It'd be nice to pick the mats you wanted to use based on the stats and then be able to make it any color you wanted if you found the correct dyes.

well, I was excited about the armors too, pity that just a leftover of OB1, where caster armor was an armor by itself, same as light, except the pants (thus doubling the craft plants needed). Nevertheless, there are spoiler sites with new designs, maybe we can see them in game soon

I agree

I remeber when the color was tied to the land, so if you wantes blue, you needed lake materials, and so on, there was a market to exchange, or we went to the yelk beach with the hopes to get yelk moss

yeah

and if possible, be able to tune the "secondary" color too, red in high quality fyros comes to mind!
