Greetings friends,

I wish to invite you all to a little event I'm holding in Pyr. What event I hear you ask? Well Mektoub Races of course :)

Yup thatÂ’s right, bring your finest mounts and come join me at the Agora Stage in Pyr for 10pm GMT (5pm EST) Saturday 3rd December, oh and make sure you bring plenty of food for your hungry beasts, it won't be supplied. The races will take place inside the city so you shouldn't need to worry about nasty aggressive creatures during the races, except for the local residents of course!

If you don't have a mount, or even if you do, there will be betting on the races too! Time to grab a bucket load of dappers and come on down for a chance to get rich!

I shall reveal the courses on the night, but I hope to have several races and events. Remember I shall not be held accountable for the accidental injuries incurred to civilians, accidents involving mounting mektoub packers or attempting to mount two Meks at once! I have managed to acquire several pieces of Kitin Larva which I am willing to award to the winners of the races.

I hope to see you all there friends, remember Saturday at 10pm GMT (5pm EST) and bring plenty of food! You'll need it ;)

Lets hope this is the first of many such events!

Expect me and "Dire Wind" to come hurtling past you on the finish line. A warning to all competitors and pedestrians - get out of my way!

Greetings again my friends,

I would like to thank everyone who turned up for the first official Mektoub Races last night, and also the people of Fyros for opening up their city as a race course.

We had a total of 5 riders and their mektoubs competing last night:

Tyilin riding Constance (2 wins),

Rashan riding Dire Wind (2 wins),

Zahan riding Tubby,

Gurthgor riding Gurgy,

Son riding Conctance.

Millions of dappers exchanged hands through bets as the various races took place. I hope everyone who attended had a good time, and will endeavour to hold more races again in the not-too-distant future.

Special congratulations to the riders and their mektoubs, especially Rashan and Tyilin who showed their speed, and knowledge of the Pyr layout - managing to win two races each!
