Ryzom

I was wondering why Ryzom, about half the time, will not quit cleanly when I'm done playing. I go to shut it down and it hangs on the shutdown screen and is not responding in the task manager. I then have to end task a whole lot before I get my desktop back It doesn't do this all the time though. Also I'm not sure if this is the place to ask questions about in game stuff but I was wondering how I go about feeding my Mektoub mount. He is about half way down the "hungry" meter (the white bar) and I have tried all sorts of things to feed him. Does the white bar have to be down all the way to feed him? I'm not sure how this goes. Help would be greatly appreciated!

The more RAM that you have in your system , the less this happens.

With 1024 MB it almost never happens. With 768 MB I find it happens about 10-15% of the time.

I don't have a system with 512 MB, but have heard that it can happen fairly frequently.

Swapping between apps a lot can also make things messy. Try to keep this down to a minimum if you do not have 1 GB of system RAM.

Sometimes improperly installed drivers can have an effect. Always make sure to remove your current video drivers and reboot before installing newer ones.
