So, I started the 7-day trial yesterday and I gotta say I love it. The world, the races, the magic! It all seems so alive and.. well alive!
Anyway, I think I've progressed with my Zoraí mage quite abit, and the only thing I so far miss from the game is meeting and interacting with other players. I've read here on the forums that most of you are on the main continent('s)/cities, so I was wondering how strong should I be before moving over there from the beginners island?
At the moment I have 5 in fighting and 12-13 in magic..
Thanks for all the answers, can't wait to meet and rp with you all.
Vishnas, Zorai mage
EDIT: Ahh! Diffrent weather, are you serious!? =O Thunder, rain, storms, sun! Too much cool stuff.. must.. fight.. head.. exploding..
*head explodes*

It's generally agreed that lvl 20 in a couple of skills is a good start. Having said that i went Straight for the mainland. As far as i am aware the only real difference between newbie island and mainland is the fact that ones bigger. if you want to level your lower skills there are plenty of places near the main City (Zora) that are very similir to the newbie island.
For player interaction. well the Zorai race is a bit sparse. but there is almost always someone in region to ask/chat to
Give me a tell (type /t tyilin in your chat box) when u get to the mainland id be more than happy to help you level and answer anyquestions
Take care, hope to see you soon

Hiya
come when u feel comfortable with the basics, running around, fighting, using the chat channels, editing actions, etc. dont worry about your levels as u will find the same mobs on the mainland so u cant come too early
If you are on the 7 day trial then dont spend more than a day or 2 on the island (unless ur having fun of course)

Right, I'll try to get magic to 20 first.. and maybe get foragging, seeing how it also looks like alot of fun. Anyhoo, thanks for the quick answers, and I guess I'll be seeing you around Zora soon then.
Until then

Careful, once you get to lvl10 in forage, the sources start exploding/giving off gas if you mistreat them

take off gloves --> equip pick or crafting tool,
it was a poor attempt at humor
