Hi again
Im used to playing linaege2 that has only about 10 emots ,but they are easy to get to.
ingame I like to emote alot becouse I think it adds flavor to the game.
now SOR has like 50+ emotes, but they are abit awkward to get to.
Is there a way to make a Emot macro that I can drag to my action bar.
Thanks for all the help with all my questions, you guys have been very helpful

Shift-K to open up macro window
Hit New Macro in top right of window
Hit Add Command
Category - Chat
Action - Talk to Anybody
Mode used for talk - Say
Message - "/" without the quotes then the emote Example: /Alert
hit ok
You can edit the Icon of the macro by clicking the button below Icon
You can name the macro by clicking in the NewMacro text area and typing your own text.
You can assign it a hot-key by cicking in the key window and doing your hotkey (Warning Avoid doing this unless your sure your not losing an important key. look through the default key values beforehand).
Hit OK to save Macro
3 ways to execute.
1. Hotkey - if you assigned one.
2. Keeping macro window open and right click on macro and hit execute.
3. Drag the macro icon to your action bar and use it like any other command in the action bar.

Well....
What was that about the Newbeforum over there, eh?
Well, just type /(emote) and there you have it.
Why do people always go the complicated way?
As a nice sidenote to lighten up the mood a little, there is a pretty funny translation error in our emotes here in germany:
Wave is as you all know the same word for the (Ocean)Wave and to wave with ones hand.
Well, some silly person in the translations departmend at Nevrax made a cute little mistake there.
They gave us : "Welle", wich is the german word for the (Ocean)Wave to activate the "wave" emote.
So, it seems if we´d like to hail someone we have to pour an ocean over him, or at least part of it.

Don´t know why they haven´t fixed that one yet. Maybe just because its funny.

Yeah, Pacific... LOL But if you have to put "a Wave" on someone to greet him/her then I think the analogy is appropraite

But thats another of those funny translation errors, or is it?
Ah, and Ronin... yeah, I know but I can´t see a real difference between macroing an emote ot just typing it. Well, one second less time it may be...
It´s just too complicated for me to macro an emote. That´s it.
