what am i to look forward to from this game? i've been killing horses crabs and birds, digging stuff on the noob land, and now i've gone to main land and im still killing crabs and still digging up the same stuff.

Short answer; there isn't one. I'd guess if anything, its going to be these PvP Tower things and the outposts

Most of the (big) events are aimed towards higher level players as Jessica Mulligan said in a post a few days ago. Lower level people have more things to do, like explore, level up, ...
So techincally you can see the events (like for example ep II) as endgame content.
Most of the content in the upcoming updates is aimed at those higher level players/guilds.

As for you, guitarex, I wouldn't worry about endgame content. By the time you reach those levels, R² will proply be in and you'll be able to create the content you like for yourself.
