The lag/rubberband issue has reached an extent that I seize playing until this fixed.
I just hope for Nevrax they can fix this before the free trial is over for most of us otherwise they can allready start counting their losses.

Hello,
Nevrax is aware of the lag issue and are currently testing a fix in-house. It shouldn't be much longer

Thank you for the information......i know you do your best....
but I have gone beyond the point to apply each gaming session anew as a paying beta tester with a smile...
...I am only sick of it, the more as the game had TONS of potential

I am sorry to say that I will not continue playing also at this point for the same reason. I played thru the last open beta and the rubber band issue was fixed then.
Now it has resurfaced and been magnified by 100's ... warping into mobs of creatures who then aggro you and then warping back to see a horde jumping you isnt much fun.
This game has and will continue to have alot of potential. The smaller glitches are bearable and I know they will be addressed and fixed and I am patient enough to see them fixed. This issue however ruins your gameplay experience in about 5 minutes.
The gaming community is finally coming around to Ryzom but with alot of people possibly logging on for the first time with this issue in place you will have worse reviews than Anarchy Online got when it opened. I did that one and it was playable at least. This is not at this point in time I'm sorry to say.

I hate to say it, but I agree with this. I was looking forward to playing today and I went in the game for about 10 minutes and had to quit. Today was the worst I have seen the lag/rubberbanding issue. Me and the mobs were bouncing all over the place, completely unplayable! I won't quit this game, I love it and I know they are working on a fix, but I hope they get it taken care of soon!

Yes. I beta test games a LOT. Each time when it comes time to release a game, the games are never ready. I understand that at a certain point a game must be released for financial and marketing reasons. However, the customers are the ones who have to suffer.
What do these companies do during their betas. I know that I stopped buying some games that I did get to beta when they were released because I foresaw nothing but issues. I do have to say however, that this "lag" issue is one of the worst I have seen in alll the games I have played over the years. It is horrible. I just quit playing, where I only played for 5 minutes because it was nothing but warping, and having the Please wait... internet icon pop up. That is absurd. Thank goodness it's a free trial, however I did spend the money on the game itself.
I seriously hope they put forth a patch for this very very soon, because I'm tired of wasting money on games that are pretty much broken. While it may work for some, I am a paying customer also,and it isn't working for me.

I am also out until I see some improvement in ATI compatibility. In my case, I can't even play for more than 10 minutes without my stuff freezing, and ive done everything under the sun outside of setting a fat heatsink on my card, which I don't think I should bother, since it's run every other game thus far. If the game starts working for me before billing, then I'll stay on, otherwise, I'm already looking ahead to the next game.
