Ryzom

I gave up and hit the website and downloaded Ryzom and installed it from the archive. I used my cd key though so I get 1 month free playtime. I created enough characters to almost fill all my slots! It's too much fun adjusting the characters physical attributes Sooooo I do have a Matis character named Shalon. If you see him online say hi!

Welcome to the forest, where we believe we are a bit superior to the others.

From a community standpoint, you will hear from many folks to leave the starter island as soon as you feel comfortable with the game mechanics. Then you will find the necessary community et all.

You will likely find that the older players are frequently in and out to the olds lands, so do not fret in not seeing 50 people running around you. There will be many lower players about near the capitals though, especially in Matis.

I will make sure to ask you if I do! I have to admit the mechanics of the game are confusing me alittle but I have learned alot so far. I like how you can move the windows around the screen though and get them out of the way of your view. I'll figure things out eventually

So far I'm having alot of fun Very cool game world from what I have seen. I'd like to get off the island though into a mainland. The danged crabs kill me though at my level of experience. Strange that crabs will not follow you into the water though... I suppose though if you got far enough out they couldn't reach you from the bottom of the lake. They can't swim per se but scuttle around on the bottom.

You can click on the outer area of windows and drag them around. You can also resize them from a corner. There is a setting to make them more or less opaque in the configuration menu.

I guess that goari and cloppers are land-crabs.

Scroll right to the bottom and you will see a Forum Jump menu. Choose User Control Panel in that menu.
