Agro Dragging

Ok so pretty much the people in charge seem to be allowing agro dragging in this FvF area. I'm guessing cause people are constantly doing it with no repurcussions against them as well as the DP being turned off from kinchers.

When FvF is Atys wide what you gonna do Nevrax? Turn of DP globally?
How are low levels gonna get anywhere. High level players could just grief your new players with agro drags till they just dont play. Anyone else see this sillyness in the future?

People can currently do this. By and large, they aren't... what makes you think this will change? (granted there may be some "teething problems" but I doubt it will be long term)

You obviously are not playing the same hours as Sinful and I, the Kamis that play on my hours seem to use this as a regular strategy. 1 pops invuln, drags 8 Kinchers in, and then the rest attack.

I have disuaded many teamates, and many guildies that although allowed this is not something I condone, and is not a respectable activity.

Even in the case of accidentally getting Kinchered, do not run to the Enemy.

Noin.

Actually I'm not playing any hours at the moment because my internet is broken, but incase it wasn't obvious from my post, I meant in general areas of the game. Are you seriously saying that people are dragging aggro on you all over Atys? Because they can if they wanted, but I'm pretty sure they're not. ;)

They arent doing this outside the FvF zones cause it was considered harressment and GMs did take actions against this behaviour in the past :p

Well it happens on both sides regularly really, mostly by the same people, for now in the FvF zones largely.

However in the case of global FvF I have the same concerns as Sinful. I see it hardly managable to make whole zones DP free because it is an FvF zone. Certainly because hunting parties not partaking in the conflict itself at that point would no longer have real risks.

You really think they (the CSRs) will let people harass others anywhere they like with aggro dragging?

Why not? Are you engaged in a formal duel here, or a war? If it's a war then the point is to kill the other guy before he kills you, and you use whatever tools you have at your disposal. Seems to me that any other behavior is just foolishness. You might as well complain if one side attacks with greater numbers than the other.

Not in semi-primitive societies such as the Atysian ones. Codes of honour and behaviour are far more likely in societies on this model - though they may not conform to a chivalric code as we think of it.

And, on a meta level, the aim is for _everyone_ to have fun isn't it?
