[Suggestion] Guild chat MOTD?

How about adding a MOTD to guild chat.
Idea is, Say: High officers/Leaders can edit the contents of a text box on the guild window. This will be displayed upon login to the game, same as current MOTD but in the guild chat channel.
Could be damn handy for planning guild events and such..
Don't suppose it'd be too hard to introduce..
Any thoughts or additions to the idea?

I've used MOTD in my past game and got a lot of good use out of it. IG Forums are nice but they don't tell you that there are new posts and if things are a little slow you tend to forget to look new ones.

... would be wicked. Along with online status in the Guild window for each member. Green icon for online, red for offline. Shouldn't be too hard as it's already in the friends window?

Agree very much. Would be very cool and useful addition to the game. How hard can it be?

I'd definitely like to see this as well. Would be very useful and, as you say, code is already in place. If they've written their code properly, it would be easy to add the functionality to another window.
