Ryzom

Hey everyone

I participated in the open beta and through Chapter 1 of Ryzom, but the guild I joined here decided to move to World of Warcraft. Well, in the past year (I think), World of Warcraft has gotten boring, and my guild fell apart, and I saw no reason to let them tear me away from the game I enjoyed anymore.

I remember the community was very strong and mature, and I thought that would be a good change from the normal MMO attitude, "I are heer ta pwn teh noobs." I hope Ryzom hasn't become like this.

I have yet to choose which race I'll be, and I'm still downloading the client. I was thinking Zora, but I did enjoy my time as a Matis.

Zorai or Matis, hmm not a difficult choice from where i am sitting I'm sure Ma-Duk's wisdom will steer your decision, drop me a tell when you arrive in the jungle & we can show you around a bit.

In a recent poll, the most popular races were, in order Tryker, Matis, Fyros and Zorai.

This is my old account which I had reactivated, but I can scarcely remember how to play, and my skills, which were good for the time, are all tailored toward blinding and such, which I doubt is as powerful as it was when the game began. I also have very little high quality armor because way back when, it was only for show and no one used it in combat. Plus, I did like the idea of being a Zorai, and my old character is a Matis.
