Ryzom

This is Keena from The Soul guild. Last night, my computer froze while trading and my hard drive decided to dark blue screen on reboot. Could someone relay to Richard and Simona from The Soul that I'll be offline till Thursday or Friday at the earliest? My character is probably still frozen in the Pyr marketplace...

Any suggestions for a quick fix when a Windows 2000 machine won't even do safe mode command prompt after a Ryzom crash? Or am I just out of luck and need to reinstall Windows?

If I have to reformat, we just lose landmarks and position settings, not the main characters, correct?

Anzhye will also be offline till repairs completed... :\

Your character is stored on the Ryzom servers. So yes the only thing you'll lose is flags.

Depending on the error on boot I may be able to make some suggestions about fixing the problem.

Blue screen recommended chkdsk /f after the "if this is not the first time you see this screen..." I'll have to check later today to see what specific error(s).

I got the `puter back up and running. I took a spare hard drive and put a clean Win2K install on it, hooked up the old hard drive and ran a chkdsk /f on it.

Worked like a charm, just got done putting in a couple hours near Pyr!

i have tried run the game in windows 2000 and i didnt had the best experience either ur character is not going to be lost since nevrax is responsible for that. only things u may loose is ur landmarks as for suggestion maybe u should find it best run the game in xindows xp if

I'm not sure have you get your computer fixed, but i will tell others that you have some problems if i dont see you online today
