Timers for FvF and PvP and Timer Gankers

Ok I think I have a simple solution:
The FvF and PvP zone timers are so people cant leave then come back and heal there comrades right? Essentially considered an exploit IIRC therefore to avoid this exploitable condition from happening timers were put in. However, people are now essentially exploiting the timers to gank people as well.
Well then why not just a Timer for entering the zone and getting PvP or FvF flag turned on. BUTTTTT when you leave instantly have the PvP, FvF tag turned off.
This would prevent people from ganking people as they load or exploiting the fact there are no guards in some of the camps. People cant leave a fight and instantly port back to fight/heal as they have to wait for the timer coming into the zone.
Am I missing something?

You are missing the fact that that idea makes sense, and will therefore not make it through the Nevrax Logic Filter.

This works great for a zone you must port into and can only port/spawn out of, but consider the FvF zone in Knoll of Dissent or Running outside of Nexus to flee my persuers. Running outside of the zone would allow you to leave combat. So you could run in, kill 2 people, and run back out before you can be attacked.
Your idea is great for AD. Not sure it will apply everywhere just yet.

Ah your right forgot about that so then Turn of FvF in Knoll (whats the point it was a test wasnt it).
And make the FvF zone timers going in but not coming out. PvP umbra timer should remain forgot about gankers kill then running.

Yes you are, they have it that way so that the FvF zones have "fuzzy boundaries" and allow people to be chased. In other zones it would allow for anomalies along all of the boundaries. A good solution might be to reset your condition to notPVP and reset the timer if you port, but I don't think that it is necessary given the randomness of the time it takes to port. On my slightly über system(10k rpm drive) it still takes at least a minute.

turn off pvp immediately when respawning, not just when porting, porting can be used to escape.

Threre is no fuzzy boundries around AD your either there or you port/respawn.
The only other zone is Knoll of Dissent which makes no sense except I think it was for testing purposes. Bugs were found and reported from people playing up there.
People are killing people as they load.

Lol you'd have to be pretty lucky to manage to port to the same place as someone porting out, especially if they're clever about it.

Not at all; lamers port to Capitals expecting to amubsh people respawning or ganking harvesters porting to drop off mats.
