A public apology

This will quite possibly my last post. The original post that was so offensive to some or all or could have been offensive to anyone I apologize. Being from the US and getting the political correctness from all sides, (so as not to get sued) I should have been more sensitive in the selection of the ribbon as a display of my sadness.
Boinged I also apologize for your harrowing experience. Someday perhaps you would care to share with me how narrowly? In private. And I will share mine.

Also in all the examples of the black ribbon I cant remember any mention of 9-11 in the reason for not using a black ribbon. It really did happen. I know it looked like it came out of a Hollywood movie, but it was real, it did happen 2,752 people lost their lives in that, and I have my own stories to tell about that.boinged wrote:(
I narrowly avoiding being blown up in the London bombings and I don't really appreciate it being used to demonstrate people's feelings about a game. It was an (honest I hope) mistake to use it in the first place or any similar real world symbol. Please just use grimjim's one and be done with it.)
