DEVS - Guild Honour rewards ?

I tried to find a proper feedback thread this would apply to, but none existed and this issue doesn't fit into any current threads.

Without going on a rant with something that bothers me and our guild quite a bit, we'd like some tweaks to how the current system is working.

Melinoe is doing well in support of Jena and the top Karavan aligned guild in harvesting currently. The problem is that we do not have access to the mats we dig and are not able to maintain guild investments on the crafting side. We can have a crafter at the site for drops, and get only a portion of the mats we acquired because a few homins have chosen to camp these sites and use everyones mats. This is not wrong per se., but not really cool when you see someone drop mats and take them immediately.

Sure they support Jena and our efforts to build this temple, BUT, we would like the ability to support our own fame as well as Jena's needs. Some of the players leading the stats in crafting (Karavan) are camping and the larger guilds are digging their hearts out with limited ability to access to their materials to show Jena our willingness to serve.

How about a 2-6 hour period where mats are only craftable by your guild, then put out for general use ? I don't want to keep mats from anyone so much as have a chance to get full reward for the efforts our guild is doing to dig materials for Jena. This small window would allow a decent rotation in and out of the zone without having to drop 50 mats at a time and hurry to craft them before the campers use them like we are doing now.

You don not drop those mats for the glory of your guild, you give them to the Karawan and to Jena so Her temple can be built.

So when Jena and her disciples decide to give the gathered mats to someone else, bow your head and accept the will of your Goddess. After all, Jena knows best.

And DT dont forget those who wish to be involved and are to weak to stand a sideways glance from a Kincher let alone one of those misguided Kami Nukers. Crafting is the only option they have got really. Would be sad if the only Totally non-combatant role in the event was made harder.

why not give a small percentage of points to the guild that the mats used came from.

I don't want to exclude access, merely have a short time where I can craft the mats I dig myself... or my guild drops for me. The mats are for Jena, I got that... But why not let me bear the fruits of my labor instead of giving them away to others who are not digging them.

At least the option would be nice... it's frustrating dodging opposing forces for a bag full of mats and I go to craft them and someone standing beside me is taken them...

Yup very annoying ive also tried only dropping off mats in sets and when noone appears to be there but they still go before I get a chance to craft them

Id like to see a no bulk token system used so you could exchange tokens with others in your guild (or friends) that youd like to benifit from the crafting or keep untill you have gathered enough/all the mats needed for a set to craft yourself

There should still be an option just to dump mats in an open to all pool tho

I think this could be helped by any or all of the following 4 things.

1. Make the crafting Actions take similar amounts of time to the digging actions. You can currently consume raw materials 60 times as fast as they can be dug.

2. Make the crafting actions consume focus. (you mean I don't have to focus on my religion while constructing a temple for it?)

3. Have a fairly high failure rate. Meaning you would fail to make the item but stilllose your focus. More focus consumed to craft the higher Q items.

4. Have the refinement process actually split the material into multiples of what was submitted. (i.e. 100 amber is turned into 500 in the refinement process so that 5 times the crafting actions are required.)

There is a bit of a grind feelign to the event at times, especially for the crafting. Not sure yet how to fix this fro in the future events. (Still tinking on that one)

Noin.

Been on both sides... put mats in, watched someone else craft 'em. Another time was able to craft 20 extra columns (no, no one was around!).

As a side note:

Harvester takes:
q50/q100 shell
q100/q200 resin
q150/q200 wood
q200/q250 amber (sap for the Kami)

Crafter takes:
q50/q100 foundation brick (6 shell, 3 resin)
q150/q200 base brick (6 wood, 3 resin)
q200/q250 icon brick (6 amber/sap)

So what's the perfect bag? I usually go for 120 each of shell (q100), resin (q200) and wood (q200). Ideal for 6 trades to the Harvester and 4 with the Crafter. Doesn't always go that way... And where does the q50 resin come from??

The temple site NPCs process the delivered mats. That apparently both takes time and there is as always the chance of degrades. So they are thrifty and whittle down the degraeds to ql50 for minor parts.
