I wish there was a way for these to recongnize people of different levels, length of play, etc.

I would like to see: less than lvl 100 list; 100-200 lvl list; maybe a active time in zone(at your factions side, not sure how to count crafting here. The crafting should probably been done in zone, same with the trade in of materials.), as idle time should not count;

Post your ideas here for how these things could be more than a signpost for the Uber.


P.S. I think on the digging and crafting side, they do a little more justice to those that are dilligent and contribute a lot of effort than on the fighting side where it just appears as Uber-ness.

For level, it's already being done. The stele takes into accound the number of mats, regardless of quality, which I think on the bright side, is a good thing. Unfortunately, it may encourage some let's say 'selfish' behavior:I can just dig q50 regardless of what's needed and the stele does not take into account the effort and risk involved. player can be the first digger.

For play time, that's a harder one... it seems to me that's a common aspect of this games, play time is rewarded.

The way I understand, the Steel is pretty is pretty level-indepedant already.
For foragers, handing in 100 q250 mats gives WAY more honor than turning in 100 q100 mats, but the gain in ranking on the Steel is the same for both. The only advantage the high level forager has is being able to pull more mats.
For crafters, same story, crafting 10 q200 pillars gives more fame than 10 q50 pedestrals, but Steel score is the same for both. Only advantage for higher level crafters is that they have more material pools to draw from; they can craft low quality too thus taking mats away from the low level crafters, doesn't work the other way around.
Don't know how fighting works as I haven't tried to gain any fight points.

I'm only pulling q100 mats but I'm generally always around 8-11 in the matis harvesting karavan board.

My craft may be puny too but I'm around the same area.

Can anyone suggest a way for healers to get fair recognition ?
At present I think they only get honor if they healed a 'damage-dealer' while that person was 'in combat' (and attacking, taking damage doesnt count ??).. impossible when the nuker is doing one-shot kills, and not that easy most other times. Healing allies outside your team also does nothing for you.


doesnt really matter, the whole thing is so fubar'd just thinking about it gives me a headache, and I cant see myself participating any more.

Dunno about healing, but teaming with higher levels and pulling out a launcher goes a long way to bunches of honour.

people who have grinded their levels up high have a right to be on the list.
i'm only 202 elemental and i'm on the hof, so it's not impossible.

Not saying they don't.

What I am saying is that a lvl 50-100 person should have some way of being recognized also. For them to do so with the current system, they can only do it through dig or craft, and even in those, they must commit significant amounts more time than a higher level person.

Don't alienate the Refugees.

Also those actually guarding the diggers, fighting the kitin etc are taking the bulk of the dp while those camping the opposite faction are working the points table. Hard to see how this could be worked to be fair to everyone but atm it does discriminate against the healers and the low lvls trying to back up where they can.
