Another Stupid Implementation of Honor

We'll this is NOT directed at Player "x" that I noticed it from but rather the poor game mechanics thats allowing it to be possible.

You see Player "x" was Karavan and ran around nuking people and got lots and lots of fight honor points. You see Player "x" likes to kill people no big surprise.

We'll One day I'm walking into Matis Karavan camp outside of Yrk and I see a Red Dot its Player "x" I repremand him and wait otuside of camp for backup to guarantee a kill. Karavan player comes and messess it up (he doesnt heal me fast enough :p )

I check the rankings for Fight People and He's still listed on there as Karavan. Come on now he's switched sides to Kami in one day and is killing Karvan He should be losing his Karavan points

Jena should have a special hell for people like him and all karavan NPCs world wide should kill him on sight. All teleport pacts by karavan should burn like the fires of hell and fill his lungs with brimstone. A karavan ship should pick him up and drop him into the mouth of the dragon :D

I know there are a few players in our guild that were guilty of this. In their defense, they weren't out there trying to rack up tons of points on either side. When the event started, they were Kami aligned (while our guild is primarily Karavan). Like everyone else, they ran out there on the first day and started playing (part of which was killing Karavan).

After the first day, all of those players in our guild made a big effort with missions and converted to Karavan so we wouldn't be split.

As far as I know, no one in our guild was on the Kami side beyond that first couple of days. Of course, the player you're talking about wouldn't be one of these people as they converted in the opposite direction as you described. I just wanted to post this explanation as I think you can end up with someone that has fought on both sides but not out of some desire to exploit the system to top the boards on both sides. In our case, it was mostly just anxiousness to participate when the event first started, without much thought as to alignment.

Yes it wasnt directed at any of your guys. However in my opinion it doesnt matter. You should lose honor points when you convert kami to karavan or karavan to kami. Doesnt make sense in the end when you get rewarded that either of the high powers will reward a player with points in both eh

Yes, I completely agree.

I'm off the opposite opinion. I think there should be neutrals who can change sides at will when taking missions and entering AD. Earning "favor" with both sides a bit. But I do think there should be a limit. Maybe each point earned on one side results in a .5 point loss on the other.

It would make mercenary work a lot easier.
