Well as I've already posted in another thread, Tryker have a balance issue with their mats. With that being said and understood. Tryker Black Company has just moved into their guild apartment, and what an exciting place! Granted it is a little desolate as of yet. So with excitement, zip and spirit we ran post haste to the outpost officers, and to our dismay found every single last one of them to be Matis, not a single Tryker to be found. Much to our dismay we find out from GM Azhrarn that there is still work being done on the outposts. What were we Tryker to do? Where we to work on Matis fame, that being our lowest race faction (-16) or were we to work on Tryker fame as we had been. Then a second thought, were we to work on Matis fame and to have the dev's change our NPC's around, and all that time spent for not. What are we to do, to what direction do we turn. Alas, have the Tyrker finally found the last balance bug, or are there still more hidden. I must truly confess that I feel I opened a pandoras box by not only buying this game, but for playing my beloved Tryker race.
To this end my questions are as follows;
1. What assurances can be given that the Tryker balance issues will be fixed shortly?
2. What racial faction should be worked on Tyker, Matis, or both?
3. Why is the Tryker race the red headed step child of the Dev's?
4. Will there be compensation, for those of the Tryker race, in regards to us being left behind, or are we just plain out of luck, expected to work harder and spend more time for the same benefits, that those of another race enjoy?
I am sure you can commiserate with our position, and realize that possibly some of us are coming to our wits end. This is not beta, while we enjoy one months free play on your servers, we did indeed buy your game. Therefore we are entitled to the same gameplay as every other race, and if not what are we to do?

I cannot agree more, you said it best this is not beta anymore, these bugs should've been worked out during beta, if not by the testers then by the internal developers. I just don't understand what's taking so long especially with the materials on Tryker land, that was pointed out in beta and still when it went live is still not worked out. I like many other really enjoy this game, but these critical factors that are effecting the gameplay and advancement are really starting to set in, especially as more and more people are getting to the point where they will need these other items to help their advancement as quite a few people are already there( i.e mats for armor and weapons). While I realize the game would have bugs and errors and thats fine but they should be limited. Anyway just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

I stopped asking myself this question some days ago and started asking myself why on Atys this game had been RELEASED allready?caniman wrote:I cannot agree more, you said it best this is not beta anymore, these bugs should've been worked out during beta, if not by the testers then by the internal developers.
Sure, I have fun and like this game so far - some features are EXTREMELY COOL......but each day gives me more of the feeling that for 50 bucks I have bought the priviledge to participate in the final beta
Re: As if the Tryker mat woes were not enough!!!
This issue, in addition to the mat issue, is an absolutely critical issue to Trykers. It's like we've gotten both hamstrings severed. We need our Guild missions fixed, and we need our mats fixed. By the time we do get them, it may be too late; the damage will have been done and the tryker will be, as a whole, permenantly behind the other races. I hope there will be something done to fix this, and balance things out.
Re: As if the Tryker mat woes were not enough!!!
If you think Tryker are 'behind' just look at the Zorai.

What I would like to know:
Are these seemingly roadblocks part of the game design or are they bugs ?
If they are indeed bugs, I am disappointed the storyline will be determined by bugs instead of put into the hands of the players. If they are part of the game design, please just tell us. The TBCo love a challenge and will persevere.
If they are bugs, they need to be put back to intended design as soon as possible. Otherwise, GM intervention will be affecting the storyline. How much do you compensate us for the handicap? You could do it too high or too low. Either way, you are taking the storyline out of our hands. The longer it takes to remedy the situation, the greater the potential damage to player based storyline progression.
A player based storyline could be the crowning achievement for SoR. Nothing will set this game apart from the rest as much as this. Creating that niche will be unique. Such a status needs to be job one.

Re: As if the Tryker mat woes were not enough!!!
Just what is more behind about the Zorai than the Tryker?
Re: As if the Tryker mat woes were not enough!!!
And when we do get a reply it will be some spin on an excuse. We are paying players now even that free month really ISNT FREE in fact we all know it is worked into the price of the product when we purchase it.qwipso20 wrote:Just what is more behind about the Zorai than the Tryker?
These are major game balance issues that need to be addressed and fixed ASAP.
And Nevrax needs to start making more official responses not to threads but within a Thread of their own as to the current state of the game and whats beiing worked on, not just what new fetures are on the way.
I for one am willing to forgoe any new features at the moment if they would just work on the game balance issues as alot of them are close to game halting.
Regards,

All MMO's are released with bugs. I think SoR is probably one of the least buggy releases I've seen. As a gaming community, we have proven that we are willing to accept this situation. So, if I were you, I would plan on running into little roadblocks like this in any MMO you play ever.
Honestly, I told myself once that I would never get into another MMO until after the first expansion was released because of the types of things you are complaining about here. Obviously, I didn't stick with that plan.
Oh, and this one doesn't sound like a Tryker specific bug.
