Today, Yoshi and I decided to part ways. At least from our current association with Realization anyway. The initial thoughts behind our 'guild' were always for use as storage and a private chat channel, and it never evolved beyond that. It remains now still as a storage point and an area of sanctuary (a place for us to cry in if something goes wrong
).Yoshi knows what he wants, but I'm not quite so decisive. I'd like to join a proper guild again, with a number of regular players to socialise and have fun with. I'm Kami-aligned, but anti-war so Karavan and/or pvp heavy guilds would be out of the question. Other than that, there's not an awful lot for me to discriminate with.
My regular hours tend to be 7pm - 11pm week days, and varying times during weekends (recently it's been practically all day). I'm a UK resident by the way, if you're thinking timezones
Yes, this is a call-out to guilds that are hiring, but with a twist. I'm thinking the best way to find all this out is to meet and compare the various guilds out there with my needs. Basically I'm proposing I go on trial periods for each interested guild which may be compatible. Say, I join for a week with no access rights (that is to say, member status in game and guest access only to guild forums and any other perks associated to the particular guild). After that week, if there's another interested guild waiting I'll join them and see what they're like. And so on until there's no-one else, at which point I'll approach the guild I liked best with a view to a regular place in their ranks. Or *ahem* head back to my sanctuary...
This may be a bad time (what with ep2 troubles and all), but would any guilds find this proposal acceptable? Let me know by whatever means you wish and I'll be in touch. If you think I should just join a guild properly like all the other homins and that I'm a few pieces short of a jewellery set, let me know too. Although replies to those might not be so forthcoming ^_^
