Hey Guys, this is Juhn, the newest Newbie

I actually tried this game once when it very first came out over a year ago, but couldn't play it due to time constraints. I'm back now, hopefully for good this time, and am eager to see how the game has changed since I last saw it (I expect it did a lot). I only played a couple days, so regardless of the fact that I've already tried the game once, I'm still very much a newbie, so I am posting here to say hello and hopefully not goodbye so soon.

Welcome young Homin. If you need any help, the forums are great. Ask in region chat in game and you will likely find many offers of Tutalage.

As for your time on atys, I wish you a long ideal life fulfilling your dreams.

Noin. (more RP than usual)

Well I'm happy to say that I've stuck with my promise and am still playing this game! (I'm also still on the newbie island so... not sure what that says lol)

I would take it you made a wise move, and decided to have a well rounded character before going to the mainland ;)
Can tell you I choose to stay a bit longer than my friends on newbie island too. And it did pay off, because I could survive close to the city and do a lot of stuff. (fight was level 46) The poor refugees that come pretty unprepared have a tough time at first.
And what is a well rounded character? I would advice around level 35-40 in all skill branches except crafting.

Have a good time and the best of friends :)

Wow, ok! I don't feel so bad then! Yeah I'm about lvl 20 in all my skill trees except for crafting. It's a bit lonely on the newbie island but I've figured out a lot of ways to solo things now :-) Now that you say about 35-40, I've got something to go towards, as that sounds very reasonable. Thank you guys very much for responding to my replies and helping me out. It means a lot and I really do love this game now

It gets much harder to reach levels above 20. I would say that if you understand the basics of the system, have reached over level 20 and know how to modify the stanzas then you are well and truly ready to come to the mainland and meet lots of people.

Look around for a guild that will train you, will explain the system and supply basic equipment. A good guild will help you get much more out of the game.
