New content is only meaningful to high lvl players

one of the problems with the new content is that you can only really participate in a meaningful or fulfilling way if you are very high lvl.
even if you are high 100s and have been around a while, you have no resist against the AoD spells and they have virtually total against anything you could send their way.
although now you can use any forage type, with the aggro and the PVP insanity, you stand little chance of foraging unless you find a really quiet place out of sight and mind.
the crafting and harvesting require lvl 50 to do anything, but at that lvl there are seldom any mats to craft.
so the new content is not for new folk and will not be a draw until in 6 months they have worked their lvls up to where they might be able to join in the fun rather than simply being rewarded with frustration, impotence and dp.
maybe this is a different thought, so a different thread is needed, but it is pretty obvious that the 'balancing' of fighting is a failure. how many meleers are there out on the PvP field? Mages are all powerful - AoD's dishing out 3000 dmg a shot. And then there is the nerfed hp heal....
thanks for listening,
trip

And with you half the diggers population in the zone resultion in a plenthora of shell while other mats are not available so the building of the temple comes to a grinding halt...

I beleive it was Jyudas (grimjim) who suggested having low level kinchers at the periphery of the zone, so low level combatants could actually participate as well. I agree with the principle, however, by the behaviour exhibited in the zone, I can see the uber-nukers and kill crazed zealots using these 'soft' areas as a highway to the opposing base.
The solution would be an "hourglass" of high level aggro, with the narrowest part at the central hill, and broader stretches north and south. The lower aggro would be situated closer to the faction camps - along with the lower level materials.

I propose a more radical sollution...in the central hill, right in the middle a magical crystal that reduces the magic dmg in the entire zone by 90%.....

I did that's why I pointed out that low lvl diggers atm do little to contribute to the building of the temples as they only supply mats that are allready stored in abundance on the build site and with the war lords controlling the other scources the temples are going nowhere...

it does not say: "only high level players are meaningful to the construction of the temples".

So describe to me what a lvl 10 would find there...
Don't get me wrong I do not object to high lvl zones but this one is tied to the storyline yet provides little to low lvl players...

so describe to me what a lvl 68 harv and lvl 90 melee is...
also: the title does not say: "New content is only meaningful to absolute noobs"
edit: i can tell you now
lvl 10 harv can care for lower harvesters and even if lvl 1 care is not effective enough, from lvl 25 on they can care 2/1, which is a tremendous help for a ~lvl 60-70 like me
