What benefits does building these monuments.....

....give the people who build them? I'm new to the game and joined because of the addition of pvp. I'm hoping there are advantages given to the races or sides that build their monument(s) first but I don't have time to look thru all the info on the site, so I ask here. thanks.

Every action that requires to make the monument (crafting, digging) gives the player honor points that are supposedly gonna be used for some future content type reward. Hit "P" and you will see at the bottom a section for "honor"

there will also be advantages from the temples themselves or so the kami and karavan said

I am really beginning to doubt it will be worth it. Whatever the rewards are.
Atys has been poisoned, and the attention seeking kiddies are lording it over the people who made this game great. Friends I helped level are hunting me down and killing me. Players I look up to and respect (metaphorically - for Trykers) are leaving in disgust.
What benefits indeed ?
