Hmm, 2 days now with the new area opened and the highest construction rate according to the Ryzom Chronicles is the Fyros Kami Temple at 1%.
Which could mean that this stage could go on for another 198 days at current construction rate.
So apparently homins are so busy slaughtering and blasting homins to pieces and sabotaging the temples of the other faction, that they completely forget the true reason that both Kami and Karawan opened the teleporters into this region...
to get those temples built.
And homins wonder why I oppose such folly.

Well if people stopped killing each other, we might actually get these temples built. Really I could care less if the karavan builds temples, just don't do it on my homeland and we're sorted. (and even if you do build in Fyros, I'm not gonna fight you for it.)

I'd help you build yours if you help me build ours....

The big arena king of the hill type play is new and exciting ... once everyone wears down on it, there'll be more digging and crafting, just watch ;)

Mach I'd res every Kara I saw if I could. I'd likely CP for my Kara friends. I'd fight the kitin side by side with all of Evo as I have in the past.
And I don't think the king of the kill ganking will ever stop. Its exactly what the area is designed for. And while it exists my enjoyment of the area will be limited.
I avoid the pvp as much as I can. I never fight anything but Kitin. I always heal all that I can even if it puts my life in danger. But still I get killed while I harvest. If it weren't for that, I could actually enjoy this event more.

No, once the big king of the hill wears down and another 20% of the playerbase has quit the rest of the people playing will be ganking foragers non-stop in the new zones for their "honor" points.
How do I know? Because I've seen it in AO, Neocron, WoW, etc, etc, etc.
People will tell me the community of Ryzom is so much different, but all I have to do is log into the new zones to see that it isn't... except that it is smaller and shrinking still.

Tonight, we held the hill for our diggers, and more refined strategies were tried to take and hold the foraging spot. Time passes, and just as you'd think, the tug-of-war slows and people start getting into the rest of what was intended.
And don't use replying to my posts as an excuse to throw fear and exaggerations around. I'm not comfortable just letting that slide as if I didn't notice...
