title specific animations

before I start on this I'm fully aware that this will probably be the last thing o nevrax's mind and will Never happen. ah but I can dream...........

for example

mage titles - your toon has glowing (hands/eyes/aura) in a race specific colour
crafters - maybe a tool belt etc
fighters - as the levels get higher your toon gets additional features on their armours/swords to make them stand out a little
harvester - maybe a bag on their back/waist to go along with that pick, more intricate looking as the titles get higher lvl

would be nice touch if pointless.

I agree, this would be nice.

I'd go with something subtle though.

Increasingly glowing eyes for the Mages in Red/Purple/Green/Blue depending on race.

Not sure for the fighters, but perhaps access to special hairstyles or body tattoos to demonstrate prowess.

Crafters and foragers I have no idea :)

oooohh.. so many ideas here :)

for crafters: what better indication of progress than access to new plans (that could be an "indirect" way to identify a crafter) or in general (together with harvesters) we could:

* add visual clues to the tools used (golden, living, etc picks and tools) and visual clues when performing actions -- to some extent this is already the case with prospecting the gloomy star varies in size and when 250 the prospecting sound has a higher tone -- A lot of players talk about the phoenix and blue wings that were removed, but you should also remeber the nice single or dual rune rings that appeared when prospecting. Those were removed around patch 1, when the green spots covering the targetted angle were added... I miss them too :)

The main problem I see if the animation improves with the level of the crafter, it could become annoying, specially when grinding and crafting like 400 related items.

If I understand correctly, the animations are shown if a certain title is shown? I like it!
But why not make it a bit wider and optional?
When gaining a title, you can go to a special NPC that allows you to buy enhancements for your toon, some things can only be bought when the actual title is active. I think more in hairstyles and (full body) tattoo's, cause that is easier to implement ;-)

And while on it....
I would like special plans that can only be bought when you reach all branches heavy armor 200 (for example), not just one. Something extra in armorplans, higher lvl stuff. Link it to a rite, race, whatever. More plans, yay!
More bricks:
- Name
- protection vs whatever in exchange for hp bonus.
- increased whatever regen in exchange for bonus.

i know its been said before, but would be great to have the crafter initials or some sort of logo (points to avator ;) ) on the crafted item.

but as this topic is about animations,

harvesting, like ani said was great before with the rune prospecting, no idea why they removed it and changed to that high pitched squeal. I miss them :(

crafting, you could make it more interactive- Purchase of grinding stones to have in your apartment (or a building where you can pay to go in) to sharpen your tools.

Fighting, tatoos sound great, new (heroic/powerful) stances, emotes, armoured mounts

Magic, this ones hard, magic stereotypically means wisdom/force, *trys not to think of gandalf* umm, give um long white hair and beard....arrr darn

Fable did a similar (but not very :) ) thing. It would be cool to be able to alter your appearance by your actions.

I'm sure some form of it is already 'kind of' implemented. The Light your avatar is able to use could appear (smaller, and less bright) around your person in different colours. I think this would only be 'right' for mages, as a kind of aura.

As a range fighter a Bandolier would be nice.

Just a question: are you talking about all titles gained, or the actual title the hommin is wearing?

Coz if you talking about all the titles... a lev 250 hommin with aura, tool belt, a huge backpack and some spikes on shoulders would look like manga zone, lol.
And if you are talking about "changing title"-> changing apearance... would be nice, indeed. But I think the aura transparency effect would lag the hell out of us, especially when are more mages together.
