Can you have a look at this and tell me what you think?
Great.
*Turke runs 20m away and runs back*
Is it just me or do I run like a girl now?
Yes I know there's nothing wrong with runnning like a girl, but when your a guy it looks a bit odd! I used to have this great manly arm action thing happening, now my run is more like a fast wiggle!
Oh you can help me? Great.
... oh, and that fixes it?
*Turke runs a few circles*
Your right, feeling much more manly now I got my arm action back!
OOC: Yes I don't like the new Tryker male running animation. Stand/sit seem ok although i'm wondering why they bothered. Hey Animators! If you got time to kill how about a few more variations on the attacks? Perhaps one just for a critical? Or even some more variation for spells so healing isn't always a spinning top for example?

I dont like the tryker run at all either. It is very....camp shall we say and that put me off playing my tryker alt all together.
I'll be voting a big smacking no on that animation...although the tryker female sit.......=D

Heh, yeah my run (as male tryker) is less than "butch". Can't tell the difference in sit/walk for him though, is there one?

You could swing your arms around loosely in your sockets like you're an ape with dislocated shoulders.
But yeah, when we get the breakdown vote I'll be saying no on Zorai walk/run and Tryker male walk/run.

Even as a Tryker Female, I feel the run animation is a bit... well... Let's put it this way... while running dual wielding my favorite sword and dagger... most of the critters got a good chuckle out of it...

I ran around in circles on my alt tryker toon (sinner) cracking myself up.

Ryzom doesn't need a jump-function *bounce bounce bounce bounce*
Note: This is a happy post, although it's tired and seriously lacking in the coffee-department.

... actually.. Thank Jena
her truest servants have been protected from this ludicrous debasement. Perhaps if the Trykers were a little less vociferous in their independance and neutrality She might have shielded them also.
A long time ago I heard someone complaining (whining, actually) that the devs loved the Matis most (in a topic about the Nexus I beleive). Truly the benevolent hand of Jena shields us from the plots and machinations of the deceitful shapechangers.
These changes in gait and posture are merely the first steps in a process intended to turn the peoples of Atys back into the beasts from which we originated.
Their insidious attempt to revert proud Homins back to their primitive ancestors -less critical and more easily overawed by the tricks of the Kami - has been foiled by the Matis foresight in exterminating the Momos.
Listen to the Kami at peril of your immortal posture
