Ryzom

...I get the feeling that this subject must've been addressed in times past, before I ever came across this game... but, why does the English Server list for Ryzom only have 1 server? Do the server lists for each language (French, German, English) all have just one server?

exactly, one language = 1 server
they are called:
Arispotle (english)
Leanon (german)
Aniro (french)
(no particuar order)

No real advertising campaign, ill-advised changes to the game, slow or non-existant response to some player's concerns, while listening to the wrong groups (i.e. those who only cared about their own personal agenda, rather than what would be best for Ryzom as a whole).

I only ever saw one advertisement for Ryzom, and none of the stores I went to had even heard of it, nor was it in any of their data-bases.

Besides, would you rather pay for a game where each victory was slow in comming, at great risk and sacrifice (unless you were lucky enough to find a group in which everyone wanted to use a skill of aproximately the same level), or one in which you had a fair shot at defeating a mob of equal level when solo? Most, right or wrong, choose the latter, which is not Ryzom.

Uhhh, Bax? Near as I can tell, people are able to solo critters bieond their lvl untill about lvl 200, ane then you have to fight with a team. There are people that do that with the psicopsila(brain plant things) all the time down in Kipee Mull, and that is an area with a max lvl of 200.

Yes, plants are easy, especially after the patch added resists to jewels. It is a step in the right direction

But, speaking of Kippee Mull, I get my digging interupted all the time by people trying to solo Najabs of equal level to themselves, asking for a rez.
