Evolution, some details.

After reading several threads in which we are mentioned as pro-kami I thought it might be time for a bit of clarification. Remember that this is my personal view, the view of other guildmembers may differ. This post may or may not reflect the guild's view, each Evolution member may decide for him/herself.

When looking at my guildwindow, I can see I am a Karavan aligned guild. When I look at my famewindow, I am Karavan aligned. Does this mean I follow the Karavan blindly? Of course not!

Most of us are older Trykers (we come in various sizes) and with age a certain wisdom may come.
The main wisdom I see among our ranks is the part where the guild meets respect from the guild, be it in alignment, faction or lvls. Everything one does is a decision and we respect each other's decisions. Who are we as a group to force ourselves (the group) into certain actions? How could we fight for freedom, protect this freedom, if we cannot practice this freedom among the ones we trust most (the guild).

This means that in our guild we have several grades of faction/alignment, currently from purist karavan to purist hominist. In the past we had Kami followers in the guild, for reasons understandable this didnt work out.

When we had discussions about new members in the past, it always came down to the same basic thought: "Is the applicant someone I can stand up for, no matter what, no matter where?"
This bond passes any measurable number in faction, level, dappers or bodylength.

Among our ranks are roleplayers in several grades too. Many members have some idea about themselves and their role on Atys, many are evolving this role every day. Of course a member is allowed to change his or her stance, why not? The main point again is respect.

Now this is all written down it sounds heavy, but it is not. If you think different, I can respect that. :-)

Last but not least, if you feel you would like to be a part of this group of roaming individuals you can contact any Evolution member ingame, ask which officer is online or send a mail ingame to Sxarlet, Snake, Crythos, Drakfot, Holina or me. Would you like to write more of an application, visit our site with the link below (Sxarlet her siglink still doesnt work, dont use hers) and make a post in the Membership application section.

Thank for reading and hopefully this will clarify some things.

Grtz,
Frydeswinde.

Maybe this thread would be an ideal place to declare what the "guild's view" is? :)

Your topic states the guild name, not the player name and it is in the "Guild" threads... Either the chickens are running the henhouse or you are speaking for your guild IMHO. In a nutshell your saying that you guys cannot be depended on by either faction and if anyone else doesn't want to make a stand they should contact one of you ?
If I wanted to play with myself, I would grab a magazine and a box of tissues.
Of course I doubt many will take you too seriously...

DT if you re-read Frys post you will see that the Kara side of the storyline will be supported actively by some members, including myself, while some members prefer to remain nearer nuetral or nuetral. Frys also states that having members who followed the Kami path didnt work out although they were respected by us as players.

This to me seems fairly simply state the overall position of the Guild as in general pro Kara but not forcing its members to follow a hardline faction path and should clarify as Fry intended the misconception posted by some people that Evo is a Kami guild.

"Evolution" its in the name, we evolve, we adapt, we learn. we change, but above all we have fun and are not about to dictate a set of rules to think by on our members.

And as a sideline you misquote Frys sig, things if not read and understood in their entirity can often be misinterpretted

Since the majority of Evolution are Trykers it would only be natural to find a bit of freedom within the guild. But we're all Jena's children, aren't we?
