In reading that there may be some divergence among the races as far as natural attributes go, I began to consider the ways that the devs could tie racial bonuses to the storyline. It's not hard to guess which skill the Fyros would excel at. But how about Matis? Since they seem to the most exploitive historically, it might make sense that they be the best harvesters: using the planet to their benefit. The Zorai, close to the Kami and being particularly spiritual, would make the best magicians. And the slave race, the Trykers, would naturally be the best at laboring to craft products. Any thoughts?

Feeling some resentment here.....Trykers aren't slaves.

Please no stereotypes this early in the game! Don't we have enough of those in real life?
