Which animations did people have a problem with?

I thought Zoraï have really big legs, fyros are neanderthalic, trykers are free and casual, and matis are a bit....um light-hearted?

I thought the animations fit with the developers concepts for them

is it perhaps that people see their own charaters differently than the devs view the race?

It might have been a little easier to compare if the before and after clips were of the same body size and shape. Personally, I thought each of the new animations was much more cartoon-like and obviously animated, where the current animations are smooth and very lifelike. To be honest, the only thing I would change are facial expressions. It would be very cool if the face would change based upon activity or emote.

I agree with you, the new animations were to cartoony for my taste too.
Especaily the running was.. well, not natural enough IMHO.

Facial expressions... Ah, I think there WILL be a time when they come.
Why else would the Characters have Teeth in theyr mouths, if not to show them sometime in the (hopefully) near future?

Facial expressions = an insane amount of work. Especially realistic ones.

I love new toys, but couldn't Neverax's resources/time be better spent fixing the broken, missing, and not up-to-snuff things (ranged, some spells, missions or whatever to let us use far TPs, etc.)? Later, we can all have dessert :) .

unequip everything in your hands, log out and log back in to the character selection screen. wait there for a few mins and you'll see your facial expressions :D
Hmm!! I'd forgotten about that. As a Fyros female, the animations are also quite suggestive and the expressions do tend to match.

sorry, was thinking of emotes, not facial expressions....when unequipping stuff and wating at the char selection screen, they perform emotes (think some of them that aren't in the actual game....)

i corrected what i meant in my previous post :)
