To be held in Fairhaven in Tryker, the most neutral land on Atys.

Purpose:
1 - To bring together those homin opposed to unnecessary bloodshed.
2 - To discuss a way in which these homin can make their voices heard.
3 - To come to agreement, insofar as possible, on ways to respond to the coming trials of Atys.
4 - To express solidarity with one another.

Please note, this does not mean support for Elias Tryton necessarily, merely for those who desire to retain the peace we have enjoyed for so long and who can set aside religious differences to come together in peace to seek to preserve that peace.

Determining whats is "necessary" bloodshed and what is not makes your efforts to prevent hostilities just as difficult as OURS. Yes you may call us warmongers and such but we prefer peace as you do, we want folks in the right frame of mind and PREPARED for bloodshed when that day is upon us and other efforts have failed.

Like minded folks will always find a way to agree, your meeting will not change the minds of those of us that prefer to be prepared for battle.

Please note...

There will always be fanatics on both 'sides' ready to kill at the drop of a hat. The intention here is not to seek to convert them, for such is impossible.

This is to find a way to bring the more moderate and peaceful homin together and to give them a voice in a time when their words are falling on deaf ears and their thoughts are being marginalised.

We need a good lead in time to allow word to spread and to bring those homin together. We also need to select a time in which most homin can attend.

Do any have any ideas?

(OOC: Obviously we need to avoid the RL Event weekend, otherwise I'd suggest a Sunday evening somewhen to allow the US timezones the opportunity to attend, perhaps an 8pm time in 2-3 weeks?)
