How to get rid of the HUD?

I'm probably giving this game some sort of review. I need to take screenshots and I need to have the HUD out of the way. I tried to dig in the options but I didn't find a key to toggle the UI on and off.
The only workaround I found is about removing all the windows from a desktop but there's still the window/game/action active.
I also would like to know if there's a way to have the controls behave in a more natural way. So that the mouselook enables automatically the strafing and so that the strafing itself is smooth and not slowed down till the point to be completely unusable.

The default key to look behind is "0". That's a Zero. This will remove all traces of the HUD and show a nice picture of you.
If you only want to take a shot of the stuff behind you, do the same, but zoom all the way in using the mouse wheel.
As for your second question, I am afraid I can't help you...
However, an alternative option would be to click both mouse buttons to move forward and turn, then when you hit the left/right arrow, you can strafe left to right easily, as you move forward.

you can turn it to icon mode and almost invisible.
btw, you have 4 desktops to play with, so you can set up one for screenshots.

But it prevents me to move the camera on the y axis, it just moves horizontally and it's almost impossible to frame something.
Why the hell they cannot implement a simple UI toggle? I'm rediscovering all the exact same issue that I reported back when I tried the game in beta 2.

What can we say? It's just the way it is lol.
I've often thought it sucks too.

btw, in beta it was possible to hide all UI with one keypress.
since release (?) that hotkey is officially gone.
... but you need to understand that by removing all UI elements is bad thing sometimes (dude, what just happened?).
just turn icon pad (you do know that you can turn that huge ugly thing to small nice 2 row icons, right ?) almosts transparent and move it to bottom-right corner of your screen (and cut it out from your screenshots if you like).

Does this thread still hold true? I could've sworn I made a perfectly clean screenshot the other day. I'll have to check when I get home tonight, but I just hit K and scrolled through the keys to find the 'hide ui' key.

There's a new hotkey since a patch or 2 ago. By default,
Shift-F5 will now remove all HUD windows as well as character titles, guild tags, etc.

Actually
Shift-F5 will only render the HUD invisible. The windows are still there and at the same positions. So you will activate actions if you click on your invisible action bar.
