Hi everyone! im new to the game and just wanted to say how much i love the game.

First of i did the 14 day trail and decided to stay. This game is amazing i can just hunt all day and make stuff. the bonus is i never get bored.
Second treat is i log in and the Seasons changed, i was awed at the snow and also the animal migration. Almost feels like the place is alive.

BTW is there a manual somwhere. Kinda hard cuz i cant tell what level i am and im having a hard time on Understanding how to use the UI.

Some basic things you may want to know:

light : l
key mappings : k
game configuration : u

Submitting a ticket to ask for support: press the "support" button in the game tab or the 'wrench' icon.

don't forget to check http://www.ryzom.com/?page=game_basics


To know your level just press 'a' and you'll get your progression tree. Bear in mind that the 4 basic classes (fight, magic, harvest, craft) branch later at different levels.

The forums are your friends, you may want to read recent posts and regarding "when should I quit the noob island"? the answer is 'you you are ready or too lonely'

Welcome 'a' & 'p' buttons for levels.

As well as the forums, ask anyone around you for help, the chances that you'll get it, in the form of advice, information, dapper, or equipment is excellent . You may run into a rare case (see thread "Bad Start"), but they are rare.

It also helps, but is by no means necessary, to join a guild.

In the HELP Menue there is a pretty good tutorial detailing the UI.
Doens´t anybody use the good old "Help Button" anymore?
Must be pretty lonely, being a Help-Button...
