a question for amps crafters...

Hi ok, i started 2 craft amps myself, but i have no clue what mats that wud give good stats.
If u have some time 2 sit down and type down some recipies for me i wud b very gratefull!

Some sort of amber + Shaft + Grip seems to work pretty well :p

actually been getting interesting results using kipucka/kirosta mandibles, guess i will have to start farming kirostas :(

Eyeballs tend to be pretty good in general. Hissertoo, muncham, etc.

But the best is supreme amber.

I believe a combination of bark, bone, skin, and fiber is how you get those 100/100 amps, but I've never made one so I'm not sure. I know that sup zun amber will make a sweet amp regardless of other mats, but to get the really good stuff you have to find odd combos.

Simple amps aren't too hard though. Hissertoo/oath/anete will make a decent elemental amp. Hash/oath/anete will make a healing amp.

Some basics.

Fiber and bark are not the essential thing on amps. Use the best you can get. Choice will do it if you dont have better.

About amber.

Every amber has different stats on one magic. I do an example with Hash amber

A amp from choice hash amber gives 100% healspead and 60% in all others
The same with exe hash amber gives 100% healspeed and 71% in all othe rs

With supreme hash amber you get again more.

You can mix different ambers with different qualities. It depends on what mats you have access to. For people like me who dont really have access to supreme amber there are some very interessting mixtures out there :) And btw, i am quite happy with my own exe amp ;)

basically dug amber gives good speed and ok power (with ele and heal anyway)
heal speed = hash
ele speed = sha
then for max power eyes are the best
heal power = yelks or shalah
ele power = arma and madakam
for overall good stats zun is the best, ie sup zun = 97/97 and exel= 87/87(or around there)

I like to direct you to this thread. There are no receipts in it, but maybe some valuable information for an ambitious crafter.

if you can get exel zun upto 87/87 I'd like to know how. The best I've managed is 85/85 out of it ;)

As been said, Amber or eyeballs be de main ting wit Amps. But de shafts an' grips ya use gots a secondary, wee effect too. Sumtimes, it be delitorious-like, like when ya uses choice oath bark wit choice hash, 'stead o' gittin 100% speed to yer heals, ya gits aroun 90%, leastways ya did a few months ago. Sumtimes, tho, it be a benificial effect. I dunno de recipes, but I does know dat dem special-type uber Amps be needin specific grips an' shafts fer to git thar extra 3-4% speed an' power. An' dem specific grips an shafts ain' alla-time exe or supreme, neither. Sometimes de crafters don' wants an exe, when dey kin be gittin a fine.

Generally though, high level amp crafters like to keep their good recipes a secret, as there is good money in being one of a small number of people who can make really really good amps.
