Gladiator News and Discussion

Greetings friends,
This will be my first post on this new thread. This is a place for me to post news and you to add your comments and discuss Gladiator as you wish.
I shall start today by directing you all to my introduction thread here:
I also have news from head judge Calebrien for you all today; and I shall try to remember all that he has told me.
First he would like to apologize for the lack of gladiator events recently, but wishes to announce that there is one planned for this Saturday.
The event on Saturday the 17th is planned for 8pm BST (3pm EDT) and will be repeated at 1am BST (8pm EDT). This time the stage will be set in Min-Cho in the Zorai lands, however do not expect the standard Gladiator leagues. For this event marks the start of the Atysian wide leagues. In order to enter you have to be in the top 25 of your races league. As previously, there will be the same 6 categories, making a limit of 100 homins per league. As the majority of leagues still have fewer than 25 participants currently, it is likely that most people will be able to take part.
If you wish to take part in the event, but are not on the league lists yet, feel free to challenge someone currently on the leagues to enter. Depending on how busy the judges are with the event on Saturday, there may be time for some additional racial battles.
I hope to see as many of you as possible there, both to cheer on and compete in the event that will launch the Atysian wide leagues.
In other news, there are 4 new leagues in the planning stages, the lower level leagues. There will be one league for each race, but they will only feature the all-rounder category. More news is expected soon on these.
Another important development coming up soon will be the advent of player judges. Calebrien hopes to train some players to act as judges in the near future, initially on the lower level leagues and once they have qualified, for the higher tiers.
