Greetings friends,

This will be my first post on this new thread. This is a place for me to post news and you to add your comments and discuss Gladiator as you wish.

I shall start today by directing you all to my introduction thread here:

I also have news from head judge Calebrien for you all today; and I shall try to remember all that he has told me.

First he would like to apologize for the lack of gladiator events recently, but wishes to announce that there is one planned for this Saturday.

The event on Saturday the 17th is planned for 8pm BST (3pm EDT) and will be repeated at 1am BST (8pm EDT). This time the stage will be set in Min-Cho in the Zorai lands, however do not expect the standard Gladiator leagues. For this event marks the start of the Atysian wide leagues. In order to enter you have to be in the top 25 of your race’s league. As previously, there will be the same 6 categories, making a limit of 100 homins per league. As the majority of leagues still have fewer than 25 participants currently, it is likely that most people will be able to take part.

If you wish to take part in the event, but are not on the league lists yet, feel free to challenge someone currently on the leagues to enter. Depending on how busy the judges are with the event on Saturday, there may be time for some additional racial battles.

I hope to see as many of you as possible there, both to cheer on and compete in the event that will launch the Atysian wide leagues.

In other news, there are 4 new leagues in the planning stages, the lower level leagues. There will be one league for each race, but they will only feature the all-rounder category. More news is expected soon on these.

Another important development coming up soon will be the advent of player judges. Calebrien hopes to train some players to act as judges in the near future, initially on the lower level leagues and once they have qualified, for the higher tiers.

Greetings again friends, I bring you more news from Fight master Calebrien.

He has first off asked me to thank all who came to the start of the Atysian World Gladiator leagues on Saturday. It seems everyone there had a good time in both sessions and we got the leagues off to a good start with many fantastic fights. There have also been several fights judged outside the event since, with quite some crowds gathered round, I hear. I am sure there will be many more to come.

Calebrien also announced the first "Homin of the event" for Saturday. This is a new award given to those most rewarding which is planned for each gladiator event to come. On Saturday it went to the brave Jable, the little tryker who entered into every fight he could, despite being overpowered by the opposition every time. He showed true guts and determination and highlighted the true spirit of gladiator, emphasising that you don’t need high levels to take part and have fun. Well done to Jable.

Also there's yet another gladiator event planned for this Friday! This time it will be team Gladiator in the Arena, there are currently two teams signed up for this event, Executioners and Team Melinoe. So if you want to get together a team and take part, please feel free to come along and fight :) This event will be run in the Matis arena at 8pm BST (3pm EDT) and again 1am BST (8pm EDT). I hope to see you all there.

Calebrien has reminded me to mention that the Aen, Lixie, Sergio and Pei armours are now banned from gladiator fights due to public vote. Additionally, only light armour is to be worn in dagger fights from this point on.

That’s all from me for now, I hope to see you all there and fighting fit on Friday

If the boss npc armour has bes baned due to vote, shouldn't previous events be nullified. tho i never used my uber armour in gladitor, i beat one's who did.
i dont see a poll option to add to my post, but i think a vote is in order....
let the homins decide.

if you could please post a poll on previous events being nullified or not
