Homins, I bring you tidings of news that has been brought to my attention,

A new Homin has entered the scene, he is known only as Lanist

Little is known about Lanist, other than that he claims to be a reporter and he has enjoyed the growing popularity of the combat sport known as the gladiator leagues. He is aware that there is a great need for solid reporting of this sport to the people, and that they want the up to date news on the latest happenings and league standings as soon as it happens.

As a result it appears he has taken up the position of official reporter for the said events. It is even said that he has the ear of the lead gladiator judge Calebrien, and may in fact be the public representative of the judges!

Keep a watchful eye Homins, it is clear there will be more twists and turns in this ever popular sport to come yet…

Greetings friends, I am Lanist.

I have been hired by head Gladiator judge Calebrien to report on the
affairs in the leagues and to act as Calebrien's voice on these forums.

I appreciate this opportunity to get to know you all, I have attended
many of the events and I aim to attend all of them in the foreseeable
future.

My arrangements with Calebrien are such that I must do a good job on
reporting the news, and keeping the scores up to date as much as I can.
If I don't do a satisfactory job, I ask you all to let me know where I
go wrong.

The Gladiator leagues are enjoyed by many, not least myself. They are
a test of honour and courage, as well as strength intelligence and
cunning. Let us all hope there are lots of enjoyable fights in the
coming days.
