A Tribal question

The spreadsheet of tribes that appears in my fame window is not the complete list of tribes. Do the other tribes appear if and when either I or my guildmates do missions for them?

Yes, you have to have some interaction with them for them to appear. In other words, gain or lose fame with them.

Theres an almost complete list here :-

http://ryzom.l9c.org/factions.php

Just missing the "Goo Grapplers" from Void and calling the "Watchers" tribe the "Restorers" , personaly id avoid getting fame with any tribe that has a -50 or more negative Civ fame with any race (the numbers to the right of the list)

Last I checked the Goo Grapplers were bandits. I'd avoid trying to get fame with them :D

In my experience, -50 or lower civ fame usually means doing missions for that tribe lowers your personal fame with that civilisation. +50 or higher civ fame means it raises it.

If there were rewards for most tribes it would be worth, else its just a load of trouble because you will lower civ fame and therefore it will be impossible for you to get stuff like racial spells of crafting plans. (personal big problem here :p )

*nodnod* Personally I think tribes like the Cholorogoos and Lawless should give out rites with really neat rewards, only to be given to those who have +50 fame with them (which I imagine can only be archieved by having -100 with every civilisation).

Hmm, I don't know what you mean, but I didn't noticed that I loose fame with the civilizations if I do missions for the Chlorogoos.

Mmhmm, if I recall BM used to have them listed as a tribe. And ryzom.raum had them listed as the Goo Heads (which is a tribe in Knot of Dementia). Both sites have the correct info now, I think.

Ah, forgive me, the fame system was revamped a few months ago and I'm still stuck in the old system. By that system you would loose fame with any civ the tribe had -50 or less with. With the new system, sometimes this is so and sometimes it isn't, it makes no sense to me anymore

http://www.ballisticmystix.com/tribeList.jsp Yes, we do have them listed as a tribe. What else are they, arma? *points at alignment column* I don't remember if Raku had to make a change there or not though ...
