Lots of them are. I suggest trying the "guild" section.

You might also want to let people know what you're looking for. What race you are, kami or karavan, time zone, etc. Helps finding a guild thats a good fit

I think the true question is, what guild isn't? Take a look around the forum called Guild (http://ryzom.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=9) and check out each one to see if it suits you. Enjoy your stay on Atys.

But I'm toying with the idea of leaving it for a more active guild

What's your IG name? If it isn't Minininja, stop on by and chat for a bit.

The reason I mention Minininja is because he's been going around asking to join a guild and once in, asking all kinds of questions and of course he then sees how much dapper is in the guild hall. Who is he spying for? Are we to examine every new recruit now with suspicion?

I think most guilds are recruiting, but take your time to scout around to see if a guilds feels 'good'.

Dont forget to turn on the guild names in the name / title bar to see who you like in the game.
