Fashion Victim needs advice

Today I am gonna start into the mainland clad in my Levis 501 outfit and my question is:
Is there a certain color coding above q20/choice?
Roughly 80% q20 choice mats where blue, 20% red which was more than ok with me but I am definitely not going for beige or green no matter what quality the armor will be. So I appreciate any infos I can get.
Yes - I actually DO have important agendas also

All mats have a color (can be seen in their stats). If you make an armor out of 3 green, 5 red and 6 blue mats it will be a blue armor.
No idea how the color is determined with 50%-50%. When I make an armor out of 4 supreme white and 4 supreme black mats it is always getting white.

I dont know if this is true but someone told me they thought on a 50/50 craft the color would be the color of the highest single item qty. So...
If the recipe had 3 items:
3 blue cloth
4 red clips
1 blue lining
It would be red. Again I havent tested this theory I just had a guy tell me that a day or so ago.

In my example it's 3 white cloth, 3 black lining, 1 black stuffing, 1 white armor clip

LOL. Well in that example the only thing that could make sense is the cloth being the largest item decides the color I guess. Hehe too funny.

I cant belive this is SO hard to get:
But I'll try to explain it moron-safe (watch out for the BOLD words

)
Of ALL SINGLE COICE MATS I harvested in newb zone about 80% where blue and 20% where red. They HAD NO OTHER COLORS.
What I want to know is IF SUPREME or EXCELLENT also has a certain color coding WHICH MEANS DOMINANT COLORS.
Any information on the above is still welcome but everyone is of course also invited to prove again that hes an illiterate who posts random answers produced by a programm probably cleverer than himself

It's not that the responders have been morons, it's just that your question is vague and poorly worded. My best guess is that you mean to ask if some colors correspond with certain mat levels. Just because a person can't decipher "a certain color coding which means dominant colors" doesn't mean that he or she is an illiterate. I'm certainly literate, and I'm not sure that I understand it.

Wow, such tact. Perhaps a clearer way to pose your question would have been, "in what colors do excellent and supreme mats most frequently appear, as I have noticed a clear predominance of blue with a touch of red in choice mats?"
In any case, based on the example posted by Shrike, I would assume that you can expect Black and White as rather common colors for Supreme mats.

Well, no. Black & white are the colors for prime root mats. Choice, excellent & supreme have the same colors there.
The question about the color code of quals can be answered with yes and no. Most q1-50 mob dropped mats (basic or fine) in zorai are green, for example. Some of the q50-100 mob mats (again, basic or fine) are tourquise (or however you write that), which wasn't present in q1-50. Some of the supreme or excellent boss mats are blue - but so are some choice harvested mats.
Sometimes there is a mat color chance from fine -> choice for havested mats, sometimes not. In short: It quite chaotic, there are changes, but not enough to make any relyable color code.
The only really relyable thing I saw with mat color was that black & white is always prime roots origin. If anything mat color seem to be region coded (but outside prime roots there are still quite some variation there).

Thank you shrike - this was very valuble information as I know now that hunting/harvesting for certain colors wont make much sense and ruling out mats for their color will be a luxury I cant afford if I want to upgrade my armor
Regarding this:

I apologize for the obvious rudeness and promise trying to get along without such from now on.
