Increased Hp on mobs

Why has the HP of mobs, been increased?? You have to fight longer to kill the mobs, cant fight one by yoursefl anymore, and no increased power on the players end??

Excuse me is something Wrong with this Picture??
No warning this was happening!!!

So what is up with the Devs?? want us all to have DP, that we cant even work off??
Then the Kiss from Jena doesnt work either, hmmmm!!!

Got a few probelms here, any reasons why??

If you mean the Herbivores in the 250 range that was announced quite some time ago. If not, then I have no idea.

It's not just L250 ish mobs. There's actually several mobs in some of the L150-200 regions as well as the L200-250 regions. The affected mobs and which regions they're in are documented in the patch release notes.

This was the change they made to address the fact that the only way teams of high level players could get much XP was to hunt named mobs. They cut back the respawn timer on named mobs and now they've added these mobs with higher HP and higher XP to provide a replacement.

So basically I can go for lower lvl mobs and get close to 3k xp??

For those mobs in those regions, yes. However, it'll take more work to kill the mob so it evens out.

Don't think there are any L150-200 zones, just reds and purples.

From what I've seen so far, this certainly makes the high-level areas a little safer. Took a stroll around Nexus yesterday and the Bolobis were killing everything. One bolobi could easily take two kinchers :D

I haven't tried killing them yet, but I'm quite curious to know how much experience they give now. Specially because the announcement of this change was what led to me to figure out the [thread=16827]experience equations[/thread] in the first place. Pre-patch Shalah and Madakam had C = 1, and bolobi and ploderos had C = 1,5. So technically Shalah and Madakam should now have C = 5 while bolobi and ploderos should have C = 7,5 (which would make them almost the equivalent of nameds, exp wise). Anyone tried it yet? I predicted back when this was announced that it would be useless to high level teams because there are no bolobi or ploderos high enough level to give 3k to a full team of level 240 players, and I'd like to know if I was right ;)

If they multiplied the xp from these things by 5 like they said, then you should now be able to get (almost) 3k by killing a ploderos or bolobi that's 13 levels lower than you. Or 11 levels lower than you for a team of two.

Red IS 150-200, and purple is 200-250.

Why don't you go alter the C values for those mobs in your database instead of making me look stupid? :o
