Invisible char.

I reinstaled Ryzom when i bought it and now my main char. that i started on the trial isnt visable in the game. While equiping a weapon or clothing i can see him and if i leave my cursor over a menu item i can see him but once i move it of a menu item he goes invisble. When i look up at the sky at branch in or at a very few certain objects i can see the part of him that is infront of the object. I created a new char. to test and the new one worked fine. Something with the geometry get off when i move my cursor ove the non menu part of the screen. Also when i can see part of him i can see his inside/(the face textures are infront of the back ones).

I will try reinstaling if no one else has had this issue and i have tryed char fading on and off.

Hm, I've never heard of anything like this, but first thing I would try is going into the Ryzom folder on your hard drive, and renaming the "save" subfolder to something like "save_backup" or whatever. Start up the game again and if you original character is still messed up, then if it didn't work and you can re-rename the folder to "save". If it did work, then just delete the old save_backup folder :)

What this will do if remove all of the "custom" settings of your characters (sadly including map landmarks and macros etc). Like I said, I have no idea if its the "right" Thing to do, but I've never heard of this error before and as long as you rename it (keeping it intact so you can use it again later) then there shouldn't be any downside :)

Edit: Do what the next post says before you do whats in this post :p

If you have a scroll mouse, you have probably zoomed in on your character. A quick list of things to try.
- Scroll out (if you have a mouse with the feature)
- Press v
- Check "see through" option (char becomes transparent when mouse is over)
- Switch between OpenGL and directx
