True Neutral

Hey all. I just have a quick question to ask of the small population on Atys who read these pages.

Are any of you truely neutral? Does anyone have exactly the same amount of Kami and Karavan fame, be that 0, positive or negate. And if so, have you entered a PvP faction zone? I'm working my way to neutrality as it is what my character, Sanz, strives for. I've asked the question a few times, with no real response from the powers-that-be so I'm going to be taking matters into my own hands. I'm not there yet but, when I am, I'm going to do just that and see what side I get arbitrarily placed on. Woh-betide the poor gingos and ragus when I have to accept Kami or Karavan missions to rip their bones from the still warm bodies of the dead in order to nudge my fame in the right direction.

Can't answer the question but look for missions that say "grateful" or "very grateful". The ones that want you to kill bandits or tribes will raise your fame the fastest. The trick is finding missions that give fame without taking it away. They don't always do it evenly. I lost 12 Karavan points and gained 6 Kami points doing the 4 Zoraï rites.

guessing its not possible :(

you seem to get fractions of fame points when u do missions.. so it might take 3 or 4 missions to get one point on the table.. so balancing the invisible fractions would be a little tricky =)

also a bit tricky as FvF zones are personal fame base, where as rites are globals based, so can't make both neutral, due to the fixed nature of race modifiers. Bad consistency really.

I am trying to be chaotic neutral. That works out pretty well so far.

From what I have seen, in the Faction pvp zones, there is no neutral. Evern if you have personal karavan and kami fame at 0, you still get put into one faction or the other.

Faction orientation is based on global fame, if I'm correct, since I remember that the racial fame bonus/malus is accounted too.

If you have no positive fame with the kamis and the karavan, you don't get faction flagged.

faction personal fame is the only fame used in a faction zone as mine are both different i'm karavan global but kami personal, thus kami in a faction zone (tested). Also if Tryton becomes a neutral option then i'm guessing his guild/faction will be quite strict in regard to fame neutrality as they'd oppose both karavan and kami influences on homins. Perhaps even to the extent of freeing Atys from both 'religious' factions, so probably not passive. (and tbh if they were passive it'd make a really dull experience for a nuetral as atys is divided between to faction aligned camps).
